Sir john soane’s museum

THe building was home to sir john soane, an architect known for his work on the bank of england and his eclectic collection of fine art paintings, architectural models, sculptures and artefacts.

The largest of my paintings so far, i wanted to capture the sir john soane’s museum as an artistic elevation: using the principles of an architectural elevation but less precise than a measured drawing. It was important to capture the prominent and unusual facade of the building.
